The Florida Gators football team has done it once again this week and bring their undefeated season to 4 games in a row. It was a very mediocre game as the second half ended and the Gators trailed the Tennessee Volunteers 7-17 and it wasn't until late into the fourth quarter that the Gators came out fighting and were able to secure a win. The Florida Gators could not have asked for a better way to start the football season this year after a 61-13 victory over the New Mexico State Aggies on Saturday. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium was sold out as 80,000+ fans cheered on the Gators to victory. The game was originally planned to begin at 7:30 pm and was cancelled at 10:30pm. Aproximately 2.5 inches of rain fell from 5 to 11pm and was accompanied by over 1100 lightening strikes within a 8 mile radius of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
