The game was originally planned to begin at 7:30 pm and was cancelled at 10:30pm. Aproximately 2.5 inches of rain fell from 5 to 11pm and was accompanied by over 1100 lightening strikes within a 8 mile radius of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

[ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half]This just in: Life can exist in space! The Guardian is reporting that samples of plankton were found on the windows of the International Space Station (ISS). Russian cosmonaut Vladimir Solovyev hypothesizes that air currents carried the organisms to stellar heights, but I am hesitant to accept that they could be carried over 200 miles into the atmosphere. August is in full swing and the summer is winding down slowly as students and teachers alike prepare for the start of another school year. I myself have already returned to Gainesville to prepare for the fall semester via my RA training and although it may seem redundant to have my 4th training in 12 months time, I am still happy to be here and have a great deal to look forward to in the coming months. The hot humid weather will linger but the absence of people at Uf will not. Lines at restaurants will grow longer and library space will once again become a highly valued commodity. Regardless, I am looking forward to seeing all of my friends and peers return to Gainesville, cooler weather, and a lineup…

It's incredibly easy to incorporate into your schedule and have around when you're in shape, but sometimes an uncomfortable thought after a long dry spell from the gym.
